BUG/game: ponds currently contain the salt water/ocean fish spawn set

maaaybe known? was wondering why i was catching white pomfret/atlantic mackerel and the sort while trying to fish in a pond for my remaining log entries (as im writing this out i also managed to catch a longnose gar which is river exclusive so....... yeah)

edit: also just caught a round goby and bluegill in the pond so it just has all spawn sets? idk either man

the streams currently spawn lake/pond (as mentioned in in-game chat) with a tendency to drop round gobys a lot more frequently if anything

i swear this is the last one for tonight

as of this update fish should only spawn in the appropriate bodies of water. needs testing in this coming release.

i mustve gone insane coz i swear i caught a singular anchovy in a pond but whatever!!! it seems good now will keep it open while i fish more to make sure

ill b real ill consider this fixed until someone else shows me proof they caught saltwater fish outside of the ocean coz i cant do it its been all freshwater for me

caught multiple salt water fish in a row in a stream so i guess i just didnt open my eyes

edit: tried to reprod even going as far as setting my time and day to the same as in the clip and i just cant get saltwater fish to spawn. starting to think theres some underlying bug that just misplaces pools somehow but no clue how
